My RPS entry has almost caught up with the number of votes as my Free Study one - and my "Tacks" entry has been stagnant for 3 days. The problem with stacking up the challenges, I guess. |

i'm still getting votes on all three, it's like a yo-yo though but it needs to go up up and away!

I'm just feeling that people don't have the time to look at the entries properly. I got two comments - one completely obvious and one saying that the image was "overdone", yet all I did was some curves work. Sigh. Hope someone comes around with some constructiveness soon. |

I'm (for once) REALLY happy with my scores. So from this point on, I'm ok vwith freezing the vote :)

I have only received a handful of votes for my free study today... even less for my people submission and tack submissions. I'm really disappointed because I was really proud of my people and free study... I hope voting regains its momentum soon. |

I'm working on the voting as fast as I can, and still trying to give each image a good look before I rate it. Whew, so many photos.... And as far as the free study goes, there are so many amazing captures! My picture is doing really well, but I'm guessing it will still be low in comparison to the challenge because there are so many wonderful shots. I'm only about halfway done. |

Votes have definitely slowed down. I wish more people would slow down and vote over the week rather than doing all 500 the first night. I have a feeling a lot of people didn't really *see* my photo -- there'e something particular to it that requires a closer look... probably wasn't a good challenge entry for that reason.
It is a good photo though. I've had two offers to buys a print from people who've seen it outside this site. So that comforts me when I see my lousy score.
I've still voting on other peoples though. I aim to do about 30-40 per day. If I do them all great, if not, oh well. There's no way I can do more than that at a time and be fair about it.
I do think these challenges are too big. Too hard on the voters, too hard on the entries, fewer votes, and fewer comments. You're much better off posting a photo in the forums if you actually want feedback. I think that's a shame. |

I voted on all the Free study images since I entered that one. I did not vote on the others because I did not enter them and 506 was enough to evaluate for one week.
Most of us voters don't know jack diddly about phototography anyway so why allow yourself as a member of the class of the blind to lead the blind? Save yourself and the affected photographers the time and effort.
What is important is that you give quality evaluations when you do.

I have not voted yet. I always start voting 2 days before the closing of the challenge.

I just got started voting on the free study. Not sure if I'll vote on People or Rock, Paper yet. |
