Curious about something here.

After a recent hardware upgrade, I noticed some of my pics looking banded and had some oddities I never saw before. I just found the video display settings on my PC were set to 16 Bit color instead of 32 Bit. Switched back to 32 and all is well, but...

Made me wonder how many members/voters don't have 32 bit set (or available as some hardware limitations are) and if a shot was edited in a 16 Bit display to look good, I could only assume it would look the same or better in a 32 Bit environment, but not the other way around as I just found out. My recent Abandoned Bldg image looked pretty bad in the sky area under 16 Bit (red banding) and wonder how many saw it like that during voting, and how many other members' images get voted lower than it should have been because of something like that.

Hmmm....
