I was playing battlefield 1942 this afternoon, and i saw this player on the other team named "Jacko" so i asked if it was the same Jacko from dpchallenge.com and i figured it wasnt but ya never know, anyway he never replied
just felt i should share my thoughts with anyone who took the time to read this

FPS or First Person Shooter I believe. Doom, Half-life, etc; but set in World War II era. |

Unless you get the WWI mod, or the Vietnam Mod, or the Desert mod. etc....etc....etc.... I love the .50 cal sniper rifle in the desert mod. |

FPS or First Person Shooter I believe. Doom, Half-life, etc; but set in World War II era. |
Actually a little slower than Doom or Half-life, not really a Death-match kind of game...but yup all those battles you see on the history channel are in there...Omaha beach, gazalla, market garden, iwo jimo...and on and on...
Play as an Infantryman, Medic, Engineer, Sniper, Rocketeer...Fly planes drive tanks, jeeps, arty, boats and submarines...
Pretty decent waste of time...

You won't be able to play online if you download it as it requires an individual CD Key which you only get when you buy the game. Online is the best part of the game. Single player sucks.

| How does this game compare to Medal of Honor? I've played the AA and Spearhead versions and it's pretty fun. |

Battlfield stomps all over Medal of Honour. The best thing about battlefield is the freedom. I have never played BF single player. It's an online game and when you get a good group of players on a server it rules. Pilots spotting tanks for the artillery guns and clearing out buildings before the troops go in. Teamwork is the key to this game. But if you like sitting playing 1 player all by yourself go get MoH.

PS, im with Kondor, BF2 will rule all

That's great game! i used to play one but now i prefer HEROES 3. or Generals. these are really interesting
and by the way, new medal of honor (or call of duty) came out, specially for the online play, where are tanks jeeps, and that kind of staff, but i have not seen planes yet

OMG Bod - oh man, you've taken me right back ... I used to have an absolute obsession with that game, a machine in a pub in hereford many years ago ... I used to go round the whole thing three times, had all the high scores ...
