Have any other *ist DS owners had issues with the camera locking up? I have had issues where the camera seems to freeze (I think during a write to the xD card). The only way to resolve the issue is to remove the batteries to "reboot" the camera. Everything is then ok, but the last picture taken is lost (hence my guess of a write-failure). Seems to only happen when shooting RAW.

Anybody else having issues?

I've had this problem once in a while, but it always seems to happen only with my older lenses. It seems to fix itself when I switch the manual / auto focus slider thing back and forth, for some strange reason. Sometimes I turn the camera on and off at the same time. This is my little magic ritual, so please don't even think about trying to ask me for a technical reason. There is none. It's Pentax faith and a special Pentax ritual, nothing more :-)

I shoot RAW exclusively and haven't lost any pictures yet. Maybe you lose the last shot by rebooting the camera?

Thanks. I will give this a try.
