gwphoto, I think it may well be you who needs the history lesson.
The reason the 2000 Millenial bomb plot, among others, was foiled by the Clinton Administration, was BECAUSE of communication between the FBI and the CIA.
As Janet Reno wrote in prepared testimony before the 9/11 commission, "There are simply no walls or restrictions on sharing the vast majority of counterterrorism information. There are no legal restrictions at all on the ability of the members of the intelligence community to share intelligence information with each other.
"With respect to sharing between intelligence investigators and criminal investigators, information learned as a result of a physical surveillance or from a confidential informant can be legally shared without restriction. While there were restrictions placed on information gathered by criminal investigators as a result of grand jury investigations or Title III wire taps, in practice they did not prove to be a serious impediment since there was very little significant information that could not be shared." The concept that the FBI, CIA etc could NOT talk to each other was a crock of dingo kidneys spewed out by the Bush administration to cover their failings on 9/11 and to bolster support for the Patriot Act by the public. You were taken in by a propaganda campaign. |

theSaj, I need better documentation! Like a reference. :D
I recall a study, done by a right-wing group, which looked at the political leanings of newspaper reporters, which claimed a 70% liberal score for reporters. This is what most people reference.
But the study did NOT look at their bosses, or their boss's bosses, who are overwhelmingly Republican. Nor did the study even try to document any reporting biases at all, or to even correlate bias with the reporters political leanings.
There are tons of studies done, though, on media bias. And many are done by independent panels. And they show the majority of bias is FOR Republicans.
This only makes sense - they have more money! And those with the most money also tend to be Republican, and by a wide margin.
I admire the republicans for their strategic thinking, as the planning for this domination of the media started thirty years and many billions of dollars ago.
But I also despise them for it, as they are destroying what democracy we have left. You can't have a true democracy without an independent press, and an informed public, and we have neither.

I am shocked this is still being brought up... Ooops I shouldnt of said anything about Fox in the right... Who is in the right anyways? Republicans have money? Ha I am flat broke, though I havent voted yet once for a presidential election and I probably wont because I can never make up my mind who should be chosen for president... I think of this wich one will push the button to end us all and wich one will save us all?
I know this much I care about the war and only hope for Peace... Someone has to help the other side of the world find peace and I guess no one else wants too so the ones that do get dogged for it.. Ya know if instead we could just say we are in it together..change things for better instead of worse who cares about republic and democratic views... Put a poor average man in there as president that has some leadership and business skills then things might start to run a little better...
As for Fox and CNN.... DO you believe everything you hear? We dont see who is writing the words only the ones reporting it.. They are only doing a job...How many reporters or journalist are telling all the truth? Are the studies even true?
I can believe why someone would get stopped for taking a picture around a train... specially if theres chemicals or a train carries chemicals.. Its our job to protect the railway and make sure there is no one out to create a chlorine spill or a wreck to happen..
Just tell the truth and be considerate with out a attitude and the police should understand... But who can trust police these days as even some take advantage over there authority...
I also think for sure in fact big brother is defanetly always watching... duh... and they can listen too.,. Not a person all the time but they have technology that picks out certain phrases and words relating to anything of the security of our country.. They also have it on the web just like a search engine crawls the web...
Soon who knows they say there is no control over the internet but there is.... You dont think they will leave a video on the net that is going to hurt a victims family when someone is taking hostage and killed...
Alls I got to say is you never know when you are going to be in a place when a crime occurs and because you had a camera and got the actual shot of a car, tag, criminal, it helps get that much closer to solving things as well as justice being served...
Just because you enjoy photography dont make you a pedifile either.. So carry on and take as many as you like, communication is the key for any situation if communication is understood..
I really just wish there was more Peace in the world and less crime against children too... Stop the abuse because the kids are what matters...Boy the world sets a fine example...
