I tried two different packages, one is free. What do people use here to correct barrel distorition?

PTLens is what I use. It's a Photoshop plug-in, I think it should work with any editor that is compatible with Photoshop plug-ins. Many are.

Edit:
To correct barrel distortion on myself, I go on a diet ;-)

Barrel distortion is when straight lines near the outer edges of the photo appear to bow outwards. The opposite situation (when they bow inwards) is called pincushion distortion.
Most zoom lenses have at least some barrel and/or pincushion ditortion, especially at the extremes of their range.

Richard Rosenman's Lens Corrector pro is an astonishing tool for photoshoppers, can be used to create distortions in any imaginable way as wella s correct for barrel and pincushion distortion. It Will allow you to mimic fisheye, for example. It can be had for $19.95.

Me2. Does the job good enough, especially a great help when you prepare images for panorama stitching.

Thank you all, I went with PTLens. Free is good, plus it has presets for the Camera.
