I'm not even going to bother opening the link I have enough other things to do.

edit: and I say this while posting here I take self-delusion to new levels.

this might be easier to get the game...bears around the icehole, instead of petals around the rose....

Actually (digging deep into the old memory), "Polar Bears and Iceholes." Not only leaving out the word "around" which is a pretty good hint, it's fun to listen to people mispronounce "iceholes."

This took me a while, too, depite the fact that I am a very pictorial person. Actually, I didn't really figure it out. I sent an e-mail to the rest of my residence hall and asked them and got back a slew of e-mails telling me how to solve the puzzle. As the guy who made the site said:

I guess that makes me the smartest in the residence hall, huh? ...or maybe the blindest...

Man, I first heard about this more than a year ago. I swear I spent months with it riding around in the back of my mind, until I finally found a mathematical pattern I could use to solve each one. Then I saw what the pattern was dependant on. I've been kicking myself for making it too hard ever since.
