I'm finding that with my standard EFS 18-55mm lens that came with my 300D has a slight blur to the right of photos....it is only very very slight but noticeable when enlarged and printed! I've done some samples at f11 and the rest of the photo is pretty sharp but the right hand side starts to blur the further from centre that it goes. I know this lens isn't the greatest thing so I don't need to hear it, but has anyone else seen this problem before?

I bought an EF-S 10-22 recently that was soft on the left hand side. I promptly returned it to B&H, who replaced it. I've heard a NUMBER of stories, particularly with the 10-22, and it seems Canon have a bit of a quality assurance issue. :-( Even now, my new 10-22 is very slightly soft, on the right this time, but that's only wide open and I'm willing to accept it.

If you're not 100% happy, return it. It's a pain, but I'm glad I did.
