Okay, I understand the picture has to 150KB, but I can only get mine to go down to 180KB. I tried adjusting to the 640 number, but it still doesnt make it any smaller. I have several different picture viewers. Maybe it would help if I used a different one. I have FinePix Viewer, Dazzle, and Photo Impression 4. someone, please give me some ideas. I'm afraid to crop any more of the picture, or there won't be anything left to submit. :) |

Instead of cropping try resizing by percentage, then you will have the same image only a smaller size. If you are shooting at 1280 x 960 resizing by 50% would give you exactly 640 x 480. If you want to crop do it first then adjust your percentages accordingly. |

Look for an option to set the JPEG quality when you are saving the photo.. Set the quality to a lower number and get a smaller file size. |
