How about a challenge to take an exterior photo of a mansion?

Spose it depends on how near to Ottawa you are. There are some beautiful homes there.

And a "mansion" in Japan is what you might call an aprtment or condominium.

Would you consider these mansions? They are old and not like a large mansion with 20 bedrooms or something. LOL

They qualify IMO. The really big ones are actually in a different category altogether. More like palaces or chateaux, really immense places. Here's a dictionary definition:

1. A large stately house.
2. A manor house.
3. Archaic.
1. A dwelling; an abode.
2. mansions A separate dwelling in a large house or structure.
4.
1. See house.
2. Any one of the 28 divisions of the moon's monthly path.

These are "large, stately houses" for sure...

I just shot this around 1 am this morning. It definatly qualifies as a mansion especially over 300 years ago.
