I had many comments asking if my "joke" had been PSed. The answer is yes and no. The image was very much manipulated in PS but the "joke" was real. Take a look for yourself:

DPC entry
Original idea

I had submitted the original from work. When I got home, I found it boring, so I went to work on PS. All the movement was created in PS. The truck was actually stopped at a red light at the time of the shot. The green and feathers, on the other hand, are real. There is a labour dispute in Montreal , and this was done to many foretrucks in Mtl to pressure the city to settle the dispute quickly.

Let me know what you think...,

The fact that you only got 2 votes of 1-3 says that a lot of people thought it was a really great shot. As for the PS - the rules were relaxed, so it makes a good use of PS. Interesting shot to find 'in the wild.' Good capture, but I don't know if it's a practical joke as much as 'graffiti' or 'destruction of property.'

*Great* job on the motion blur, it really does make the truck stand out and gives the shot a lot more impact.

That was kind of what I was going for. It was fun to do that much manipulation, but I ALMOST forgot that I couldn't do that when working on my "colour" entry. Had to put myself back in the DPC mindset.
