Nicely done. I have a helluva time when people wear hats in midday, sometimes the shadow is just too dark. Did you use fill flash at all?

Just a slightly different take on the crop. ignore the pixely processing...I only had 40KB to work with before i cropped it :) |

Excellent idea Pedro- I would have never thought of that. I still need to get over the idea that everything around a person needs to be in shot- the whole hat, the entire bicycle (if they're riding one), etc.

actually i understand in the original photo this woman was riding a 1997 Harley Soft Tail Classic but Tyrone wisely cropped it out. It took away from the mood. |

Pedro.
Please write down everything you know about anything that has to do with photography and send it to me. I will memorize it and burn it into my skull.
Then, one day I will be able to affect others with my genius as you do with yours.
That is a great crop and edit and really brings out the subject.
Cheers,
Mike.

Here's what I know about it:
1. Point Camera
2. Push button (try not to move much during this part)
3. repeat until summin cool comes out.
oh yeah, and 4. if you can't see anything, take off the lens cap. I keep forgetting that one.

Ty,
Say hi to my sister when you see her around; she just retired from 30 years at Stanford, is now emeritus...
Nice shot btw, and Pedro's crop only makes it better. it's always good to leave something for the eye to complete, IMO.
Robt.
