So, I went for it and "upgraded" my Nikon D70 to D100. I'm really happy I did it - the noise looks much better at most speeds, and the image detail is finer imo.

Had some time to shoot with it, but mostly at a show I was photographing a couple of days ago to test it - but they used so little light that using f/2.8, ISO6400 and 1/180sec resulted in at least a slight underexposure all of the time. Anyway, I also got myself another CF card and has totally moved into the RAW world. The only complaint I have is that the ergonomics of the D70 was better and had a larger buffer. Other than that, the D100 is a step up for me - surprisingly enough. It feels and performs professionally, less noise, more detail. Really looking forward to an eventual upgrade from Nikon to the D100

To celebrate my new used camera, I present to you two candid pictures of two very charismatic friends who willingly posed as I've started carrying the camera all the time again. :P
