Below are a few comments:
The first page is a little boring. Simple black on white with no photographs. Simple can be good, but for a photography website you want first impressions to last.
Hitting people up for donations in the first few sentences are gonna deter a lot of people. Get them hooked on your site first and then they are more likely to help with bandwidth costs. Just add a paypal donation button to the layout.
Correct spelling is always a plus. Not sure what you're using to edit your pages, but in most cases they should have a spellchecker.
You are using very generic layouts with the different sections of the site and they are all different. This makes the fusing of the website difficult. Additionally having to register so many times is going to deter people.
You should be able to get coppermine and the forums to run as modules within nuke with a little work. That way you can create a single uniform layout for the site and cut down on the registrations needed.
Having the name of the site basically be your name you are not really representing much of a community feeling.

thats great input thank you so much. yes my spilling sux i should run a spell check. I would really like to know how to get rid of that multiple registering crap that is really annoying but I am such a novice at this i doubt i could do it. Paypal account pending thanx for that too.
My name is Marac not Alionic, Alionic is the name of my recording studio (something i know LOTS about is recording music) I don't think people in general will associate Alionic being my name. Maybe because it is my nick on here but nobody outside this site would know that. I think the most important thing is to get them running together and get a unisen going on I will have to try to find a help page where they explain (in idiotproof way) how to do it..
thank you for taking the time to help me with this appreciated. |
