Just looked at my profile as was suggested in another thread, to check my Average Score.
Participated in 46 challenges
Received 11,671 votes(average of 253.72 per challenge)
Avarage Score.... 5.3376 :,(
Can anyone do worse and just keep going? And though you may not believe it, I'm actually trying my best.

5.3376 after 46 challenges is quite a decent average score..
I'm sitting at 5.4066 or something, after about the same amount.
There are plenty of people sitting a 4.x, and probably some at 3.x
Don't get down, just have fun.
*EDIT* ok, my actual average is 5.4022..

Sorry, but I'm new, so my numbers are worthless at this point. I've looked at your profile and some of your work though. I think they are really good. Don't let a number decide who you are. I look forward to the day I can take pictures as good as yours.

I am dancing in the streets, just made my day.
16 challenges and avg vote just topped 5...woot!
Sooo...I would be delighted with a 5.3.. besides, after I look at your portfolio, its your art that counts, not the numbers. Your forte seems to be beyond cotton candy photography.

My average is 4.9553. I think i'm a little better than that. It dosn't bother me much tho because I also feel that my best stuff hasn't made it in to challenges. Most of my scores were pretty much what I would have guessed them to be.. like the 5.3 in the current challenge.. It's a nice shot but it had an obvious technical flaw.. so I didn't expect it to do too well.
