A suggestion:
Date
2 Minutes ago <---- This would be clickable and takes the user to the last post in the thread, instead of clicking on the page number and then scrolling down to the last post, OR maybe a "Go to Last Post" link, something like that. |

Reverse Post Feature:
Just click the Reverse link and you will read all your forum posts with last posted first. (OK - so it wasn't "really" a button...)

What would be really useful is a way for it to "remember" the last post the user had read, regardless of its location in the thread. |

That button helps, but only takes you to the last post on the page I believe. If the post is several pages long, you have to go to last page then hit the button. I was wondering why this site doesn't have the go to first unread message in a thread. I have seen this on several web sites, which look like they use the same type of forum software.

That would be very helpful.

No, it does reverse the order of posts, so what was the last post on the last page becomes the first post on the first page.

Yeah I know that one :) But it reverses the posts, which I don't want, I'm used to reading posts old at the top, new at the bottom. |

The 'randomise posts' button is the best of both worlds. Sometimes a post will be newer than the one above and sometimes it won't. That way nobody gets confused with what they're used to and everyone is happy.

I have wondered why they don't have that here for awhile, it would be very useful instead of scrolling down trying to find the last post you have read. |

A little checkbox for each post in the thread that allows each user to "Hide this post" would be useful for reducing clutter for each user. Of course you would need an "unhide all posts" feature as well. |
