Stupid question, is there a way to change the title of my image in the accidental letters challenge?! According to the 3 comments I have received, no one has noticed that there is not just a single letter but 2 that form an actual word out of something in nature that I had nothing to do with! This was a rare chance that I happened to take this picture and its getting hammered! Grrr!! |

Can't change anything during voting. Always remember that the title is part of the entry and some (myself included) weight the title as a portion of your score.
If the letters are not obvious, you should have put something in the title (I know, hindsight, etc.) - I was annoyed at some of the images where I had to struggle, search, strain to find anything resembling letters and got no help from the title. I may even have left you some comments.
Anyway - don't sweat it. Consider it lessons learned for the next challenge. :) |

I'm feeling the obscurity of the "letters" within the frame of the photo might work both ways. If this element suceeds in adding a sense of the "accidental," then I'm likely to rate higher.
There are nicely clear-cut letters in some of the entries, at the same time that there are some photos that are just too cluttered that I'd have to search (and when I find it/them, I'd go "Oh, is that all?"). When I do find what at first glance appears to be clutter, but upon a second, third or even fourth closer look reveal the subject issue of the challenge, then I feel it's a more rewarding shot and deserving more regard. |

Fair enough. Best of luck to your entry. :) |
