Can I say something about my title during voting? People are commenting that the photo is good but I didn't get the challenge. Thanks |

Before I give you my opinion, bear in mind that this is my personal opinon...
Some folks do respond to comments with clarification during a challenge. I personally feel that this violates the anonymity of the voting process, so I never do that, and don't recommend it to others. While it is acceptable to do so, I don't recommend it.

This is why I changed My Prefernces to hid my identity while voting. I got too many people responding to my comment and they were describing their photo in detail enough that I knew which one was their's I also think it violates the anonymity of the voting process and my opinion would be to wait until voting is over.

This is why I never comment until I have finished voting entirely. Then I go back and comment as motivated to do so. And I don't mind when people respond to me anymore, since my work is done and I'm happy to debate now :-)
I'll occasionally respond to comments on my work during voting, but I take care to make it clear that's this is not an attempt to "change" the vote; it's just that soemtimes interesting issues are brought up and I liek to respond to them while they are fresh in my mind; by "next week" I'll have forgotten all about it...

Good point Robert and that would be the way to do it and be ok by me. The only reason I checked anonymity was because most people don't do as you do.

It's not really necessary to post your title here, because if you missed the point of the challenge - perhaps you should just read the challenge rules.
If, however, you are convinced that you did understand the rules and that all the commenters are idiots, then just wait until the end to post concerns about your photograph and everyone else's misjudgement.
But I'm guessing that if everyone has commented that way so far, then your image was most likely not successful in promoting the theme of the challenge. If you have to explain how your picture meets the challenge to every person that looks at it - you probably did miss the point, or you're trying to make a good photo stretch.
I think I remember a few amazing photos that fit this description, but again, don't post the title, it probably won't help you at this point.
