So I was wondering, ho uses it, or other like it, like the Canon 300D, or the new 350, the new Olymous E-300, the Pentax 1'Ds or other like it or top prosumer cameras for doin business.

I use my 300D for shooting equestrian sports for magazines. That said, I do use a 70-200L or primes. You can certainly get by with less though. My most recent shots for publication were shot with a Sigma 28-70/2.8 EX, which is pretty cheap.

If I was shooting a wedding I'd almost certainly use my Canon 50/1.8mm, which is very high quality, and dirt cheap.

Tank you all for your feedback, and feel fre to continue if desired.

but let me throw some more wood in to the fire. This is not a thread about megapixels. I know that the image qualaty has less to do with it. And the most important part in the ritual of photographing, in my humble oppinion is the greativity, the genius and the "eyes" of the creator, so called photographer. I agree with ElGordo, the future of digital will put the film in a position where the qualaty isnt going to be contested anymore (I think it isn't nowerdays). In the past week a bride called me to came and see my portfolio and she asked me if I shoot digital or film and she was a bit surprised when I said "only digital". I think that in the future this will hapen in the other way, and people will say: "you still use film? No thank's I want better!." For most of actual cameras, even if their not the top of the class like Canon 20D or Nikon D70 and others like them, the image qualaty is set to reference the market, regardless of hte process involved in the capture (film or digital). Less noise , better control and instant result are only some of the features that you can get in control almoust instantly. When this kind of cameras achieve the optical resolution of 35mm (I gess about the same has medium format digital is right know, about 24 MP more or less), nobody will even have the courage in thinking in film cameras.

I'm starting to do weddings on the D70 and I'm very happy with it. My first work is schedulled to 22th May and I will post as a humble aprentix present it to his master to submit to everyone's opinion, because DPChallenge have been my great learning experience untill know.

What 35mm digital can do now has far surpassed 35mm film.

Judging from this article on image quality (film vs. digital), 35mm film has been surpassed by high end digital cameras.

Well that didn't work, tried inserting a hyperlink to the site:
