Ok my first micro with the 350D. I have not received my micro lens yet so this was taken with the kit 18-55mm lens. Just wanted to know what you think. Thanks in advance.

Very nice, Scott. The bokeh looks nice. You will really be able to take some killer pictures when you get your other lenses!

Here is a couple more from today [non-micro]

Parked across the street and took this candid Shot of a man in front of his house holding his pet snake.


Took a drive in the country this afternoon. I love this time of year and the nice dogwood trees.


Any Comments?

Is that micro or macro? if it is micro why is it a micro? or am i losing something here?

By the way the shot is really nice i like the colors and the sharpness on the flower. great job.

I think it's a bit oversharpened--visible halos. Might want to sharpen and denoise in NeatImage.

Should of been Macro.

i have to disagree. they all look fine as they are. i'm not seeing any halos.
