I ribboned on my 3rd entry, 8/3/2004, and haven't been back since (though I came in 4th in January). I have you beat by two weeks!

You've been in the top 10 a bunch of times though. You're flirting with ribbons every week!

I think I might have one of the longest times between ribbons, my first was on the 18th of August and I havent gotten a second yet... thats 7 months 17 days and counting!

But otherwise if you look at the stats for my camera im doing pretty well.

I'm expecting to see you getting one since I joined the site.

I honestly don't think I'll ever ribbon. The way I see, and the way I think, is too much at odds with the majority of voters in this site. And that's cool. My "pet" entry, I thought, was probably the best shot I'll ever have at a ribbon, and it's languishing in the low 6's, which is a decent score but it ain't gonna robbon.

If yoiu'd like to stay tuned for the ultimate demonstration of the utter perversity of my "vision" vis-a-vis the voters' tastes, hang on and see what I've entered in free Study (assuming I don't change it between now and then). I think it's a stunning photo, but it's doomed doomed doomed....

I don't know Robert. You may single-handedly start to turn the tide on this site. Witness the fact that somebody recognized your Cemetery entry. Ditto your, for gosh's sake, self-portrait. You're developing a decidedly anti-status quo following, check your profile hits and other relevant stats.

I thought I'd never ribbon either...but then it happened. It really is rewarding. I mean, I don't mean to sound like it's the greatest thing in the world or anything...oh hell... yeah it is, who am I kidding. I just hope I can get another one...now I'm hungry!
