I reckon that this challenge will be around 250-300 by deadline. Well it going to be quite tedious to vote on all the images for me (dial-up) :) |

I had the colour shot of all colour shots, one I was really excited about today. I shot up an entire gig only to find out when I got home, I had the camera set to Black/White mode. What an idiot. :(
Make that 249 to 299 shots, count me out this week.
Good Luck everyone

if you plan to shoot b&w, is it better to use the camera b&w mode than to adjust it later in post processing? or asked another way, why would you ever shoot in b&w when you can adjust it later? (i'm not trying to twist the knife in your side in addition to your pain from missing the color shots, i'm genuinely curious if there is a technical reason to use the b&w function in the camera over post processing). |

Well,... you cant twist the knife any farther than I've twisted it on myself today. I was just changing from Hi-resolution to fine resolution so I could fit more pictures on the disc. I settled in mistakenly on the B/W mode. I just wasn't paying enough attention to the camera settings. I was too excited about the perfect opportunity for the challenge. Now all I can do is wonder how well it might have faired with the voters. Ho-Hum, no score this up-coming week. (but I've had a great time this last two weeks) Looking forward to the next challenge. |

Hey if you guys have a library nearby, they often have free connection that you can use for a while. It might be worth it if your connection is really slow. |

I had the greatest "color" shot of all time but, unfortunately, the dog ate it.
By the time all those little bits and bytes came out the other end I wouldn't even touch them.
Guess I'll just have to go with my second choice.
