For my birthday, my wonderful girlfriend (pictured above - a detail of a photo taken while in Romania this winter) bought me a subscription to this wonderful site.
What a great feature it is that one can purchase a membership for others on the site!

| You will find out in a relatively short amount of time that the update button truly is the root of all evil, it is because of that damn button that laundry goes undone, dishes unwashed among numerous other things I put off to sit and hit that darn button. You may think I'm exagerating but you will soon see for yourself that I'm not. ;-) |

The button is my excuse, when I have had time to enter something, for not getting work done. I have an additive personality to start with, the BUTTON does NOT help!

welcome! I was too also lucky to recieve a gift membership, and i gotta tell ya, it is the best gift i have ever recieved. It has inspired me so much. It has taken me from a day filled with boredom and no inspiration, to not being able to sleep because all i am thinking about is what am i missing on here while i am supposed to be sleeping. :)
All i can say is Congrats! And i cant wait to see some photos from you.

Just hope she is understanding when you spend more time on DPC than you do with her. LOL.
