Today at work, one of my colleagues told me that there was "a man taking photos of our building" and "it looks like he has some nice stuff"
I went outside to see what was going on and there was Huib Nederhof, he is one of the few Panorama photographers in Holland Link to his website
And he realy had some nice stuff with him:
The 1Ds MarkII
A 2nd 1Ds (mark1) body, cases with only "L" lenses
And offcourse the Seitz VR Drive for total automatic Panorama snapshots :-)
Alway's nice to meet a fellow photographer, took some quick snapshots of him with my 350D, he didn't even laugh :-)
Be sure to check out his website -> Fotogallerij (Photogallery)
I realy like the "Graansilo" pictures.

You didn't take a picture of what he was shooting a panorama of? Just curious.

Nope,
He was making photo's of my workplace.
Normaly it is forbidden to take pictures of the building or inside the building, (I work a a bank (Headoffice)) He had special clearance, I didn't and did not want to provoce the "guards"

nice setup he´s got.. but for panorama I´d rather have the Noblex pro 175 UX
specially made for panorama :) |

But if you want to make digital panorama's 360 round and 180 up and down, will you scan those negatives? |

Interesting camera orientation...never though of doing panoramas in portrait mode...Hmm...
Didn't know they made an automated tripod for it either...now then, tie it into a laptop and produce the panorama in realtime.
Hmm...brain at work. stand back and watch for smoke...
