Anybody interested in attending a photo workshop in The Bruce Peninsula National Park? (about 3hrs north of Toronto)
Here is the web site of Ethan Meleg www.ethanmeleg.com (who lives near the park) that would run the workshop. He is prepared to run a private workshop just for our group (max 8, 4-6 would be best) for a fixed price for this time. Take a look at his website and PM me if you are interested.

I was thinking of driving up on a Saturday morning starting the workshop after lunch, stay overnight. Continue Sunday morning wrapping up around lunch time for the drive back to Toronto.

If you want a Toronto workshop, I suggest:

That would be a very different workshop.

Only one person has indicated interest so far. Any other takers? There is another possibility of a one day Hamilton Area Waterfalls. Does that interest anyone?

NOpe i don't have ideas on times, maybe we shoudl contact him and find out when he has time first.
The fee seems reasonable for what you get also... instruction, workbook, park entry fees, snacks lunch and transportation on a charter bus.

I think we can pick any date we want. He doesn't have the bus so we would car pool. The cost would be reduced to only $100.
(BTW: That would be the same for the two day on the Bruce Peninsula.)

Still a good price at $100.00

Sounds like fun.. But without a DSLR I can't really participate!

Why not? I assume your camera has manual settings. If you have a tripod you qualify.

or How about getting a dSLR? I hear Corwyn is looking to sell his 300D.

It's says you need a DSLR on the site. Also I just bought this camera I'm not quite ready to trade up to a DSLR. lol

I sent an e-mail to ask just that question. I'm sure it will not be a problem.
