Hi. I have the Canon 10D and I keep on getting shots that turn out yellow. They look ok on the camera when I take them and when I get them in photoshop they are really yellow looking. I have two 500 watt lights set up and I am even reflecting the light off of a white board.
Can anyone give me any suggestions? I already have the color temp turned all the way down to 2800 and still no difference...

I'm assuming you're using a custom white balance in the camera? |

I think so. How would I check that or is that the color temp?

ok. I think I found that the best way to get the photo right before I export it is to use the canon utility that came with the camera..
Thanks...

If you shoot in Raw, use you program to correct it. I use a gray card/custom white balance on my indoor set shots, it helps get it close, minor adj. in the program to get it right on........ |

I'm assuming that you are using hot lights (tungsten), is this right? If it is you may need to adjust the white balance to the Tungsten setting. Also, these lights give off a temperature reading of 3200K. Not sure if this can be adjusted on the 10D.
I shoot with hot lights and this worked for me. If the color was off, I just adjusted the levels in PS. |
