trying to establish a lens collection for my camera Nikon F mount i bought a minolta 28-70mm lens it wont fit on my camera iam trying to figure out what adpaters i can Iam using the Fuji Film S1 Pro or if there are any at all i really like the lens and i bought it on ebay chances are i cant return it thanks

I don't know of any adapters for such use. If it is an AF type minolta lens you are probably out of luck. If it is an older fully manual lens, then perhaps by some small slim chance there is an adapter somewhere.
The only cross-platform adapters i know of are the ones that let you put a M42 mount lens on a nikon/canon/etc.
You could try and sell your 'new' lens here or on ebay.

yea its a AF lens but they make so many adapters and NIkon is pretty popular so i jus figued they had one that went from minolta to Nikon............ :(

Put it back on eBay and sell it.

there are not many adapters for nikon because it has a long
film-plane distance (46.5mm) where minolta is 43.5mm
this would mean that the lens would have to be deeper in the body
the only way that would work is if you had a mirror lockup
