I talked with a Canon Rep the other day and he said that the improvements here are great. Even a healing bursh in RAW before you go to photoshop. Haven't checked it out yet. Just downloaded it.
//www.canonusa.com and look for the download library for your camera.

Doesn't look like it's available for 20D. I just got mine last week and the DPP software version is 1.5.0.3

Is there a newer version for the 20D? Thanks

//consumer.usa.canon.com/ir/controller?act=DownloadDetailAct&fcategoryid=314&modelid=8280

and click on the Drivers/Software and another window will pop up. You cna tghen agree to the licensing and look for DPP (digital photo pro) for either Windows or Mac.

The new version is 1.6.1. I don't see it on the 20D support page but you can get it from the 1D MkII page. I'm downloading it now. And there is an update for the DPP instruction manual too, it's 1.48 mb.

Edited: correction, it's the 1Ds page that I'm using.

Wow I can't wait! It's downloading right now. I daresay, I use DPP more than Photoshop, especially as a photo browser.

I was waiting for the new release of DPP, but now I tryed it and I saw that still have the bad cromatic error in the RAW conversion.
They added some features like cloning tool and cropping tool but I'd prefer they adjust the cromatic errors in the RAW conversion process.

At the moment I stick to EVU 1.2.1
