Actually it was the disclaimer that gave me pause. The original eBay seller, if this is a hijacked account, was German. Also this disclaimer seems to be saying that there is no warrenty on the lens, and that by purchasing this lens you will not pursue the warrenty should anything go wrong. If it is a straight rip-off, which I still believe it is, I do not understand why the seller would care to dicuss the warrenty at all. |
Would you think of buying a lens for that value, from an unknown seller, without some kind of warranty or return policy. I wouldn't!!
But, how many people bother to read the actual wording of a warranty...or in this case, a disclaimer. What he is saying is, you pay for it, but you can't send it back or get your money back...nor can you have the manufacturers warranty transferred.
