Check out BobsterLobster's portfolio. (The following link)

BobsterLobster's Collection

How does he use a thumbnail to be the clickable link for say landscapes? I know how to use it in signatures and bio and stuff. But not the thumbnail for a portfolio folder. Any help?

When you are in the folder, you can select a picture and on the bottom, you can assign a photo to represent the collection under where it says "Selected Image Options"
