I just bought the new Sony DSC-P200 and am more than pleased with the pictures from it. From reading reviews (and seeing no Shutter or Aperture Priority mode), though, I get the feeling that it's very much a novice camera.

Images seem much better from the Sony than from many 5-MP "amateur" and "experienced" cameras at 100% crop...and manual mode is enough for me (though there is no EV compensation there). What's your opinion on it?
