Is the use of the black, gray, white "droppers" in image/adjustments/levels in Photoshop 7 legal?

Can a moderator please answer this for me?

I belive using the droppers is legal, as it is really just a shortcut to entering values in the Levels dialog. I also suggest you wait a few minutes and get a second opinion.
