Talk about preparing for a challenge? Are there any other Dp'ers out there from Wisconsin/northern midwest? Spring comes SLooooooowwwwwlllyyyyy in 'da nort' (yeah, that's how they say it :-) )

Anyway, while there is a depressing lack of color outside, I find myself in the midst of a great challenge: 1) to FIND color, and 2) to take a creative picture of it. How do you prepare for that!

This week started out rough. At first I was frustrated because I was thinking, hey, what a great opportunity to take a picture of some spring flowers, birds, you know... something colorful! Then it dawned on me, take the frustration you have for finding color and apply it to a photo. I can't say much more right now, but I will say that I think this is the kind of inspiration Setzler was talking about.. If the topic doesn't inspire you or interest you, it's very hard to inspire or interest someone else.

Anyway, from the not so great white north, I hope I've inspired someone to be creative today :-) Turn your frustrations into art!
