Okay I just bought a toy - a polarizing filter - without knowing exactly what it does. I would appreciate any tips on knowing how and when to use it (or better yet NOT use it). Should I just keep it on my camera full time? Thanks in advance for your help!

Check the references in this previous thread...if you go to Forums under the Community menu you will find a search field, with which you can find earlier references to particular topics.

Maybe the search field should be moved to the top of the Forum List Page. </end_of_hint>
