So...I'm bored, and not becuase I just voted on the current challenge. I look at my profile, and I almost fall over.
I have 342 views on my Rocks entry for the AA challenge?????
That beats my most viewed photo by over 50 views and totally shadows everything else. I can't even think of what is drawing people to look at this photo, unless people are starting from the bottom scoring images and going up :)
Is anybody else getting the samy kind of traction on their AA submissions?

Well now you've gone and messed up the statisticss, LOL!
Serioulsy, that is a huge difference. Had you previously linked the image in a thread? If not, it's possible that the AA challenge just has a lot of views in general.
Edit:
I looked at the five above and below yors, and they all have kinda similar "views" numbers, so that supports the "lotsa views for Ansel" hypothesis.

My AA entry has had 346 views...which is 118 more views than my Bizarre Nature photo which only has 128 views. Maybe this will be a trend as I grow with my photography. Just wish someone would view my prints and buy one!!!!!!!

Does that statistic show views post-voting? I seem to recall a thread where someone said they already had 400 views as soon as the challenge results came out. Mine is showing 510 views for 'Ansel' compared to 10 for my 'Lines' entry!
I think there was something going bung on that one....

I think there's a thread someplace where this is addressed. The admins apparently goofed up the stats when the challenge ended, bringing over all the views that occurred during voting.

Maybe there is something with b/w photography that attracts people. My portfolio average is about 30 views, with better ones getting up to ~60 views. This b/w photo which I didn't even enter got 240+ views.
What gives?
ps. I asked for comments on this one and on the others as well under the Individual Photo Discussion threads...

| My highest views on a photo is 1277 on my self portrait entry. Hope that's a good thing. lol Or maybe it's like a bad accident...people just can't help but look no matter how aweful it is. :) |
