Sure as hell looks to me like a regular picture shot by accident in a macro mode. I get crap like that all the time when I'm not careful, 'cuz my 5700 remembers the previous setting when I turn it off and back on. I don't know what a D100 does, whether there's even such a thing as a macro mode on those...

D100 doesn't have a macro mode
the lenses make it macro ... |
