The timing on the shot is such that all-important foreground is in shadow. More of the golden morning light on the beach would be better. Basically this picture should have been taken a few minutes later so there was more illumination on the beach and foreground. But then the color might have been lost by then.

I did not do it very well here, but tried to bring out a little more morning sun on the beach and in the forground by selecting the golden color in the background and using that to paint on a 50% greyscale layer to bring out that color more on the beach and foreground.

That does looks better! Thanks for the comment and editing! The shot was actually in the evening.

Either way yours is a very nice capture and composed very well. Morning and evening are hard to tell apart. That would mean that the picture was taken a couple minutes to late to catch beach rock and foreground illumination.

I would like to see a larger version of that. It looks like a very interesting picture.

Don't know how else to post it - It is on "MY OWN SITE".

The one I saw on your site wasn't much bigger, but I don't like the white streak under the rose. I think it would have looked better with just the rose reflecting in the black. But, I do think the way the corner of the page turns down is a pretty cool effect.

Got it Melissa.

Marcel I would love to comment but need a bigger version. I can't tell much with that small one.

You got my opinion - Love the butterfly (afrikaans word for butterfly is a "skoenlapper" - directly to englisf; skoenlapper equals something in the line of ShoeCloth. Very Weird.
