Had the chance to attend the Canadian Ballroom and Latin Dance Championships in Halifax a few weeks back. Here are some of the images that I have edited so far. Lighting conditions were very challenging and I had to shoot at ISO 1600. I tried shooting with ambient light since I wanted to get a feel for the whole room. Flash photography wouldn't have given me this. All shots were taken with my Canon 18-55mm at or near 18mm to get as much light as possible.

Any comments here or on the host site are more than welcomed.

I like the fact that you're shooting up at them, but the fact that most of your shots are of their backsides, at least the ones that you've posted thus far, are not that interesting. there's nothing to see in them.

Thanks for the comment. Like I said, shooting opportunities were limited by light and the lens.

Had the chance to attend theNJ Dance Competitions
It is really hard to shoot on this light condition
My settings is
ISO 800
Shooter speed 1/200
F-stop 5.0
Flash 550EX
Canon 70-300 Borrowed

I might have done a manual white balance, I assume you didn't by the color of the photos.
