In the last challenge 'Friends' my entry got some comments suggesting that the re-authoring was not nice. I had the original image taken at 3072 x 2048 JPEG Fine mode and while resampling it to the size required by the DPC lost a lot of quality.
Any sugessions on how to do this would be great.
DPchallenge has been an inspirational site for me since last 2 years. Looking at the work by members here I finally came up with a site of my own.
I would request a little help from you all by sparing some of your time to comment on my pictures.

I use PS to resize the images. I usually crop, copy paste and then resize. I don't loose that much quality IMO. |

PS step resize works pretty good: set it to a small increment like 10% and resample it using bicubic repeatedly until its the size you need. Then a quick USM if needed and it usually works out pretty nice. |

Thanks Colyla. It's our first one... a girl. Her face is very fotogenic and I love taking her pictures.
