lol, the person that looks the most scared seems to be the furthest away - the guy in the upper left corner! (although i admit, i'd be quite frightened as well and probably would've had a similar reaction in this photo)

You guys have missed out on the coolest part about this. I posted it in a thread about ten minutes before this one...of course, it required clicking.
The real skill is in the timing
Fine, I'll save you the work...this was taken by the same photographer seconds earlier. That takes skill, to track like that...catching two fantastic, sharp images in a matter of seconds. Credit goes to Charles Krupa of the AP.

The guy in the top left corner of that first photo absolutely slays me.. it's like he's in a damn horror movie, and Jason has just come around the corner holding a machete and the girl's that he just slept with head.
I laugh.

Sorry, Mike...I didn't mean to step on your toes with this thread...honestly I missed your thread when I posted.
Thanks for the links and commentary, though...Charles Krupa definately knows what he is doing (good camera or not).

I'd have to agree. This says at least as much about the auto focus performance of the camera and/or lens. Not that the photographer didn't need to be on his toes too...

Whats wrong? Im just saying that 8fps will obviously help A LITTLE in timing, and when i say a little, i mean a lot.

If it is the 1Ds MarkII then it is only 4 fps I believe. The 1D MarkII is the 8 fps camera. =)
Yup I checked to make sure, only 4 fps for the 1Ds Mark II.
