I mentioned last week, in another thread, that my wife and I found a home and are pretty excitd about moving in and such. Today we had scheduled the home inspections and such and planned to be out there right after work.

Well this morning I get a private message from a DPC member letting me know its HIS home we are buying. WOW....What a small world we live in. Got out there after work and met Kerry and the inspectors and such. I guess this DPC connection really made things a lot less uncomfortable, we talked a bit and just had a great time. Kerry is moving just a few blocks away so Im sure we will hook up and do some shooting in the near future.

Whoa. Even allowing for many folks over-sensitivity to coincidence, this seems rather extreme.

The co-incidence I'm waiting for, though it might already have happened, is when a DPC member turns up in another DPC'ers candid photograph. That will freak someone out :-)

I'll bet money that that circumstance will occur in Iceland, where apparently the kick-ass photographer to average citizen ratio is like 7 out of 10 people.

Wow! That's gotta be a first, LOL. Odds on that have to be tens of thousands to one, perhaps more than 100,000:1. BTW, congrats on the new haunts!

Bound to happen sooner or later, with the frequency that some locations are photographed! I know we've had two photogs submit a photo of the same location to the same challenge before.

I do seem to recall at least one instance where two photographers visited the same place, the same day, and both submitted pictures from the place in the same challenge, maybe within the last 3-4 months.

Did you ask if he's willing to do a TFP? ;-)

another cool thing was the good photos he has on his walls and a few on the floor ( remodeling in progress so some are not hanging up).

He has a fiber optic connection in the house (SWEEEEET!!!!) but he has to shut it down since the company I work for is not in the network or something, his company paid to run it to his house. No how COOL is that? Fiber in da House.
