I added some new pics to my portfolio earlier and just wanted to get some feedback...as usual...would love to hear any comments...good or bad as long as it's constructive...thanks so much....Rachel

I left some comments, but I'll repeat some here:

I like some of these very much! you might try deeping or darkening some of your mid or dark tones. In LEVELS, try sliding the middle slider to the right just a bit and see what you can do, or go to curves and fiddle with a nice S shape. OR try the Gradent Map feature and select the black to white one. Good work!

hey dsidwell...I don't have any photo shop software...this is just straight from the camera...I'm hoping to buy something soon...any suggestions....and thanks for the wonderful comments...

I think AcDSee makes a nice photo editing program and it's cheap. It also is a photo managing program to organize all your photos. Most PS plug-ins work in it as well. I wouldn't recommend using it to aquire from camera anything you might use for a challenge from camera though as it changes your exif file to look "unoriginal." Here's a free trial: ACDSEE

Wow...thanks for the info...I'm checking them out now...I tried to submit a photo to one of the challenges but it said my camera didn't have the EXIF thingy...lol...so I will trudge on till I get a cam that does...and that should give me more time to try out these techniques...
