Are all lenses that can fit a Film SLR can also fit a D SLR. |

That will depend on the camera and the lens :-) In general, the same rules apply as for film SLRs - the camera manufacturer will quote which of their lenses are compatible.
So, for example, just as Canon may quote a new film SLR to be compatible with all EF series lenses, they may quote a new digital SLR to be similarly compatible.
But you wouldn't be able to fit a Pentax K-mount lens to a Canon D-SLR (just as you wouldn't be able to use it with a Canon film SLR).
Hope that makes sense.

Pretty much, yes: As pinback says.
Also (staying with Canon, as this is the brand I am familiar with), if you have convertors linking, say, manual focus lenses to an EOS system, you can use those as well.

for the most part they will work if they are the same mount type. SLR's have a different mounts for different brands/models. Same with the D-SLR's.
There may be an autofocus issue if you try to use an older SLR lens on a D-SLR. But manual focus should still perform very well.
