I have a chance to buy one for a little more than $200 (Brand New). Is it a good camara? Is it a good buy? Any thoughts

We sold ours on eBay a while back. Not the greatest camera but will do in a pinch. It took excellent (Super) Macros, and very nice true to color pics. Plastic body nics real easy. My wife used it and got used to it...I did not like to use it because the menuing just flat out sucked...almost everything had be done through the menu. She did get the adapter to put filters and lens on it. No where near the same as the C-5050...

Starting with the Picture "Fallen" and on my wife took the C-5000 Z

OK, now this is against all odds:
Your wife's picture taken at Cabrillo:
and mine taken at the same place (thumb):

Hers was taken on Jan 30th, mine on Feb 13th.
Very likely the same bird, taken in the same bunch of branches.

Small world

It's even smaller than that 29 December 2004

you uploaded this on Jan 2nd 2005, now that I look at the date you may have taken this a year earlier.

Your wife took some nice photos. The camara is 5 megapixels and has a pretty good zoom. The thing that attracted me was the external flash. And the price.
