i am so bored. Friday night not much to do. So i was going through some old photos and found this one. These monks are making this out of sand. It looked very cool in real life.

very interesting shot. Did u happen to take any pictures of the art work itself? Where did u capture this image?

i couldnt get close enough. It was shot at a local shopping centre, the monks were there as part of a opening for the centre. They are so clever

Very nice photo, Lisa, and very interesting story behind it. Now, I just wish I could find time to be bored!!! LOL Seriously, hoping yur new camera comes soon and it will be good-bye boredom for you!

so how were they doing this? it looks interesting, but the photo doesn't give me the whole story...

they were blowing through little straws. I dont know what the picture represents, we werent allowed near them and there was no explanation about what the picture is but i thought it was very pretty and just wanted to share it

I understand after they make these, they just sweep them away. Wonder if they ever sneeze in the process...
