Is a thick, fade border legal in basic editing? you know...where it almost looks like a picture with rough edges on white paper?

I don't think so. I believe this has been mentioned before. Some SC will drop by and give a definitive answer, I believe.

No we won't, certainly not unless we can see it, but please don't describe any entries or discuss them in the forums.

Most things called "a border" are legal in all challenges, but if you think it "goes too far" and is illegal, then recommend a DQ and vote as if it is legal. We will take care of it then.

I wasn't aware we were discussing a current challenge, sorry. I thought the question was hypothetical. I didn't see it was in the "current challenge" forum as I cruised by. Sorry. The General is correct, as always.
