Before voting on a new challenge you scan the thumbnails clicking on a few entries here and there that catch your eye. You review the few select standouts and then fell confident that you know who the ultimate winner will be.

From this first impression... how often are you right?

I never pay attention to the thumbnails, and I always vote on every photo. Sometimes when the initial page for the challenge loads, there might be one that catches my eye, as being a good shot, but you can never really tell until you pull up the large image.

LOL that is exactly what I do actually. And I'm normally right. Sometimes shocked, however.

When I start voting I just click the first thumbnail and start voting. Then go back and adjust them.
