Members of Descendance, an aborigine dance troupe from Australia, made their debut at the 11th annual Honolulu Festival. Audience members were mesmerized as they performed the finest in traditional and contemporary indigenous culture and music for festivalgoers.

Their performance was very enjoyable, made me want to go to Australia. Some day......

All shots handheld using 70-200mm F/2.8L with 2x Teleconverter.

Wow, those are some amazing photos. I'm very impressed. What kind of shutter speeds were you getting with the 2x teleconverter?

Also as a reminder, don't forget that large images (larger than about 30k, especially when posting multiple images, or larger than 500 pixels wide) should be posted behind a link or thumbnail. This is as a courtesy to dialup users and to users who pay by the megabyte for Internet access.

Unfortunately, I was so caught up in the moment I didn't even review my shots till I got home. I then realized most of my shots were between 1/160 to 1/250 while shooting at 400mm. Still, I got some salvagable images after really cranking up the USM. Many of them were soft from the TC and quite a few had motion blur. I have the non-IS 70-200.
