I picked up the Spyder2pro yesterday and calibrated the monitors only to get this message after I calibrated the second monitor.
On Windows, it is necessary to use a separate video card for each monitor. Multi-head video cards (one card that drives multiple monitors) will not work because Windows will not allow you to assign a different profile to each monitor.
Is there anyway around this?If not what kind of PCI card do I need?
If anybody could help me I would really appreciate it ,cause I have been pulling my hair out and I can't afford to loose anymore ! LOL

What kind of Video card do you have?
[edit to add this] My husband has done research in this, and is telling me that if the video card has multiple GPUs that you can assign different montitor profiles. My Matrox Parahelia will allow two different monitor profiles. (helps to have a in-house computer geek)

Quadra fx 600 has the nvidia chipset and is aa affordable card that should give you two different monitor profiles but won't be available until next month.

any high end card with multiple GPUs will work. Otherwise finding a pci graphics card that is comparable to your current card may be a problem, but isn't impossible.
