I just wanted to let the San Diego area people know that the Wild Animal Park will be having it's annual exhibit of Butterflies & Orchids March 19 - April 3. Watch the video. They are all over the place and they land on you! The butterflies are very exotic. I plan on going some time pretty soon. And for a limited time, adults get in at the children's price (17.50 compared to 28.50) if you buy tickets on their website only.

I'll actually be at the San Diego Zoo on March 18th. I wish I could go to the Wild Animal Park on the 19th, but I won't be able to go back til April. :(

Word of advise...
Visit this one in the first couple weeks that it is offered. Folks around here like to like to put it off until the last minute, the last couple of weeks of the exhibit the lines to go in with the butterflies is better than 2 hours long.
The orchids are outside in the open and never a problem to shoot.
